For the first scene of my movie, the scientist(who will be played by Elliot Moser) is working on the finishing touches to his human-like robot. In this scene, we would see the inside of the robot as if one was performing surgery.
Since the robot is going to be played by a human, this would be a challenge. In the end, I came up with a solution...
I decided that we could take two separate for this one clip: One shot with the actor laying on the table, and another shot with the box containing the robot guts and the scientist. I would overlay this clip over the footage with the actor, and mask out everything except for the part showing the scientist and the box's interior parts.
